The continuation of Creating Lifestyles Love Filipino Food… my interview with Vancouver Filipino Food group host, Anna Cadiz Bennett, our surprise visit to Casa Pinoy and the Moriones Festival showcase of the Marinduque Association at the 2012 Pinoy Fiesta.
Pinoy Fiesta is the largest Filipino street parade in North America. It started 3 years ago with most of the Filipino associations in British Columbia that banded together to celebrate living in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. This year’s parade has grown to more than 70 organizations, associations, societies and businesses.
… and ON SPOTLIGHT, The Moriones Festival rocks the Filipino Fiesta Parade
And for the first time, Simply the Best in cooperation with Paul Pincott of Can Am Importique proudly supports the Moriones Festival of the Marinduque Association headed by Ms. Annie Miles. The Moriones Festival is a Lenten festival where the whole town is transformed into a stage. The Marinduque float showcased the gorgeous and detailed costumes of the Roman soldiers. It was absolutely simply the best!
