Simply The Best new series “Let’s Talk” is a casual discussion of views, experiences, recommendations and solutions with regards to important matters, issues, and existing problems that affect some members in the our community.

Bullying, scams, harassment, bounced checks, credit card schemes… Has this happened to you or your loved one? Has this happened to someone you know? The procedures and laws are different here in Canada than other countries. There is help, there is a way to take care of these issues thru due processes. Community advocates Francisco Cortes, Dave Dickson and Maevn Hauser join me on the first edition of “Let’s Talk”.

Thank you for having this very interesting, thought provoking, caring topic in your show.

I have 3 quotes perfect for this:
“Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.” ~ Winston Churchill

“It is easier to believe a lie that one has heard a thousand times than to believe a fact that no one has heard before.” ~ A. A. Milne

and finally (which for me is the most important):

“History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people.” ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

You are one of those good people Luisa Marshall – and I am glad you didn’t keep your silence, and I am proud of you!

To never be afraid to stand for what is right even if it is unpopular and even if it means loosing unprincipled people around you, this is what I will always advocate for, so that when I stand before God at the end of my life, He will be proud of what He has given me of.

  2. It’s about time to talk about this..REALITY of life! Be a PART of the solution and dont just ignore..because it could happen to your loved ones.
