Simply the Best – The Luisa Marshall Show was on scene downtown Vancouver at the Plaza of Nations for the 3rd OPM (Original Pinoy Music) Vancouver Festival held Saturday, July 19 2014.

OPM Ambassador to Canada 2014, Jaya, the Philippines’ Queen of Soul headlined this year’s festival and was by far the best OPM artist to take the stage in Vancouver presented by GMA 7 Kapuso. Her talent was way beyond her young years of success in the US billboard charts and her impromptu numbers were light but very promising through out her hour long show. She showcased her strong voice with her matching rock and roll attitude. Jaya’s show was simply amazing. She’s funny and her wide range and unique voice is every singers’ dream!
Also featured at the festival were local Filipino talents Pork N’ Bean, Ria Jade, PowerHouse Entertainment artists, Mayo Landicho & Band, and of course GOLDIE, formerly of Retrospect who brought the house down with her performance and represented our TV Show Simply the Best – The Luisa Marshall Show. This year was simply the best OPM Vancouver Festival yet and our team was proud to be one of the media sponsors!

We’d like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth! We enjoyed meeting you all! Our free “thank you” cookies were another huge hit and were baked and handed out by Luisa’s daughters Kimi & Zenia. The girls baked Luisa’s new favourite cookies in 4 different variations: classic chocolate chip, white chocolate chip, butterscotch, and M&Ms.
