About Glow
On October 18, 2013, the fourth Glow: A Women’s Evening of Change and Celebration will take place in Surrey, B.C., at the Sheraton Guildford Hotel, building on the successes of previous galas held in Coquitlam and Vancouver.
What is Glow? It is an exciting combination of seminar, trade show and charity gala, which features several speakers who can impart a message of positivity and empowerment to the female audience. Luisa is thrilled to be one of the special guest speakers at the next event whose message and energy will not only inform, but inspire the audience!
More on Glow
Organized by a volunteer network of women called Achieve Radiance, the Glow galas are a movement toward helping women (ages 30-60) take some time out of their busy lives to become more positive, confident, healthy, happy and grateful — what they call achieving your inner and outer “glow.”
The inaugural Glow event, held on June 1, 2012, in Coquitlam, and the subsequent ones held in Vancouver on March 9, 2013, and again in Coquitlam, on May 31, 2013, exceeded all expectations, welcoming 200+ women, and raised thousands of dollars for local women’s charities and transition houses. Motivational speakers, diverse exhibitors, a glamorous atmosphere, fun entertainment, a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, music and dancing were among the highlights, garnering high praise from all attendees.
Luisa will also be part of giving back through Glow’s newly created non-profit charity, the Glow Women’s Foundation, which is creating programs, events and content to proactively empower women and girls to develop a healthy self-image, a strong sense of worth and the motivation to achieve all their dreams.
