My Tina Turner Tribute show was honoured to be invited to help raise funds for the Bermuda Red Cross at the very famous Fairmont Southampton Resort Hotel. We did 2 successful shows and had so much fun with the people of Bermuda.

Exploring Bermuda! The “Jewel of the Atlantic”
Bermuda is also known as the Jewel of the Atlantic. With its gorgeous weather, pink sand beaches, interesting historic sites and warm, friendly people. Many have voted Bermuda as the “Best Island in the Caribbean”. On our second day, we decided to explore the capital of Bermuda, the charming and unbelievably picture perfect harbour city of Hamilton.

It is colourful, vibrant, but most of all, for me, very calm and mellow. We walked and walked through this historic town and enjoyed harbour views and shops, galleries and restaurants.

There’s a big number of Filipinos working in Bermuda and I’m super happy to meet some of the hardworking Filipinos at the Fairmont Southampton Resort where we were staying. They’re super nice, friendly and fun just like the Bermudans. I met George Uy (waiter, In Room Dining), Jojo Palomar Estorque (waiter, In Room Dining), Chef Allan Barrios (Executive Pastry Chef).

After the interview they proudly showed me around to get a behind the scenes look into their daily routine.

Plus the heartwarming story that changed Bermuda’s attitude towards gay people. My very exclusive interview with the man who singlehandedly took Bermuda by storm making a stand on the rights of Lesbians, Gay, Transgenders and Bi-sexuals. Mark Anderson is a female impersonator also known as Sybil Barrington, The Queen of Bermuda. In 2005, he appeared in the Bermuda Parade hoping to raise public awareness at encouraging the government to include sexual orientation in Bermuda’s Human Rights Act. The following year, he was not allowed to participate after complaints that Mark’s drag routine was unacceptable in Bermuda. Here’s Mark’s amazing story of passion, inspiration and creating more awareness on his advocacy close to his heart.
