We’re on our 5th Season and we’re so proud to announce our Season 5 premier on Shaw Multicultural Channel 116 airing on October 21st, 2013 at 9:00pm primetime! We had an amazing summer and we want to share some of the best moments with you. From Luisa Marshall’s Tina Turner Tribute for a cause for the Bermuda Red Cross to the Portland Fashion Show: the Philippines on the Runway, Season 5 is filled with more inspiring episodes. We will begin the new season with the blessing and inauguration of the first Filipino Community Centre, the Barangay North Van featuring some fantastic highlights and interviews to inspire everyone!

GET INSPIRED: Turning Dreams into Reality. We are happy to announce the blessing and inaugural opening of the Filipino Community Centre, Barangay North Van in North Vancouver, British Columbia. This group of humble individuals from MV-PACES, Metro Vancouver Philippine Arts and Culture Exposition Society are working in many extraordinary ways to serve our community by making this dream a reality.

Barangay North Van is the first Filipino Community Centre, Growth & Productivity Resource facility. It is a non-profit facility to help and develop the growing Filipino Canadian community, especially targeting Filipinos who have already migrated here for a while so that they become more productive and eventually use the talents and skills they’ve studied for back in the Philippines.

Watch my special Interviews with Kuya Alvin Relleve (President of Barangay North Van), North Vancouver Mayor Darrell Mussatto, Vancouver-Kensington MLA Mable Elmore, Seymour-North Vancouber MLA Jane Thornthwaite, former Philippine Consul General of Vancouver Ampeso, Toni Mangiliman (MV-PACES) and Narima Dela Cruz (founder of SPIDS).
