Human Trafficking is the 2nd worst crime rate in the world. What do we do about it? In the Philippines, the perpetrators are filthy influential people. How can we stop them? What can we as community members do about it?
The forum last night was a big eye opener to many. A lot of abuse going on in various shapes and forms. If a person has been lured to come to Canada and being forced to work… that is considered human trafficking.
I met a courageous lady last night who has a very interesting story to tell.
