ALL NEW – SIMPLY THE BEST Season 10!

“Proudly Philippines” is a showcase of everything Filipino – from Food and Arts to Culture and Travel. Headed by the Philippine Consulate in Vancouver, Consul General Andrelita S. Austria, the event rallied to promote Philippine products.

The theme of the celebration was “courage” and “compassion” to commemorate the 121st Philippine Independence Day and the 1st Filipino Heritage Month in Canada.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony also marked the official opening of “Proudly Philippines”.

Held at Robson Square, in the heart of downtown Vancouver, the festival hopes to share a little bit of the Philippines to every visitor – from Philippine cuisine to art exhibits, from travel packages to Philippine destinations, from “halo-halo” to Filipino martial arts.
