On July 11th, 2019, Burnaby Mayor Mike Hurley proclaimed August 5th – 11th as Philippine Cultural Heritage Week in the city of Burnaby.

Founders Rey Calinisan (President-PCHS) and Victor Villamera (Executive Director-PCHS) welcome different communities, groups, businesses and societies all over Metro Vancouver to its first event showcasing the unique colourful and fun-filled Philippine festivals, traditional dances, art, cuisine, display of famous Philippine tourism attractions and services.
