For the first time ever, the Luisa Marshall Band was at the Starlight Casino… and the band ROCKED the August 8th & 9th weekend! For both the Friday & Saturday, the dance floor was packed and pumping for 3 straight sets all the way up until the last song at 1am. The band was so surprised and happy to see a lot of their fans and supporters follow them and come out to the Starlight Casino in New Westminster from the other places the band has performed at. They were also very thrilled to meet and party with all the new faces at Starlight.

It was a Starry Starry Night indeed at the Starlight Casino. The Luisa Marshall Band would like to thank the staff and crew at the Starlight Casino (especially those who stormed the dance floor and showcased their slick moves during Pharrell’s “Happy”). Thanks to Scotty for making the band sound super! The band would also like to thank all their fans and supporters who came out and filled the dance floor the whole weekend. Thank you to all those who came up to the band with all the wonderful comments and feedback. Thanks everyone for making the Luisa Marshall Band’s first time at Starlight so special and spectacular! The Luisa Marshall Band hopes to see you all again!

Friday, August 8th
Friday night was so busy and it was so awesome to see the dance floor packed to the max all night long for the 3 sets from the first song ‘til the very last song. It was wonderful to see all those who rocked and danced the night away with the band. You party people are AMAZING! What a great first night at the Starlight Casino Gateway Grill! The people’s cheers & applause was so loud after each and every song the band played.
Starlight Hit of the Night: Happy by Pharrell Williams. This was the first time the band performed the song and everyone just went wild. The huge dance floor was sizzling hot with everyone showing off their best moves. For those who couldn’t find space on the dance floor, they were clapping along and lip syncing from their tables!

Saturday, August 9th
HAPPY BAND! WHAT A NIGHT! SATURDAY GIG WAS THE BOMB! CRAZY PACKED! Starlight Party Monsters stayed the whole night. People came as early as 7pm to secure their tables. New and old fans watched & danced all night. There were a lot of people that were there again after seeing the band Friday night. The dance floor was packed until the last song of the night! It was AMAZING!
Hit of the Night: Happy by Pharrell Williams again and requested twice.

Big Rave of the Night: Luisa Marshall Band sax player Dennis Tymoshenko’s original flying splits in the air during “Get Lucky” while doing his solo.
Bringing the House Down: Divalicious comeback of Naomi Chan’s “Respect”. She just arrived Friday night from Malaysia and came out to wow the Starlight crowd.
AHA Moment: A birthday celebrant requested for Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”. Tota started to sing the chorus and and the whole band joined in while the ladies rushed to the dancefloor. A real unexpected moment. Everybody cheered! Now we are bringing this beautiful song back to our repertoire. Get Ready, Ladies!
